The MFMS Fashion Forward Showcase recognizes college students at U of M and across the country who are innovators and entrepreneurs in the fashion and media worlds.

Those who are fashion-forward in their thinking and their pursuits and those who are already making strides to be members of the next generation of fashion industry leaders. Whether you’re developing a brand, growing a media presence, creating content, or maybe even just sketching designs—this showcase is for you. 

Five finalists are given the chance to attend the Michigan Fashion Media Summit and present their work on the day of the event.

Winners will be honored in front of the conference attendees, speakers, and executives from leading companies in the fashion and media industries.

Leading up to our summit, the MFMS audience will vote on the five nominees to select the 2024 Fashion Forward Showcase Valedictorian.

The Valedictorian will be highlighted in front of summit attendees and win an exclusive prize package.
