Gucci Vault in the Sandbox Opens
Through the visionary guidance of creative director Alessandro Michele, Gucci continues to be the pioneer in virtual experiences as it opens The Vault, a display of Gucci’s presence within the metaverse. As stated on the Gucci Vault Website: “...as it expands in all directions to push beyond the traditional and the purely transactional, Vault also acts as an emissary of Gucci’s presence within the metaverse, evolving by creating with the community.”

Several Brands Officially Drop Kanye West
After several antisemitic remarks, public defamation of George Floyd, and controversial White Lives Matter shirts, Kanye West’s partnerships with various brands are finally coming to a close. These brands range from Balenciaga to TJMaxx, but Adidas in particular is ending their multi-billion dollar relationship with Kanye to indicate their stance against hate speech after his remarks led to an antisemitic public demonstration in LA.

Calvin Klein turns 80
Calvin Klein, famous for ad campaigns featuring big names and little clothing, turns 80 on November 19th. Brooke Shields, Kate Moss, Justin Bieber, Kendall Jenner, Kaia Gerber, Mark Wahlberg, and Maya Hawk have all participated in his groundbreaking ad campaigns. Teen Vogue wrote, “There is an utter simplicity to the images that is, in fact, perfectly indicative of their clothing aesthetic, proving that you don’t need a wild set and opulent graphics to create the most memorable images.” In their 80 years, Calvin Klein has always pushed the envelope and defined what sexy is in white cotton undies.
